2011 COOLUM CUP GREEN JACKET CHAMPION

Adam Kerr 2011 Champion

After 10 attempts, Adam Kerr became the 6th Coolum Cup champion. Entering day for 4 with what seemed an unassailable 13 shot lead, he was reeled in by JR and Stinger to record a three shot victory for his first Coolum Green Jacket.

This year’s event was held on Dent island, it was one of our best ever Coolum Cups, an amazing course with incredible views, it certainly tested the competitors, as did the litany of sporting legends who were there to greet us after a tough day on course.

Not sure what was more legendry Kerry’s breakthrough Coolum Cup Win, retaining his pairs title with Fitzy or his consecutive Arm-wrestle victories over Glenn Archer & Alfie Langer!

Congratulations to Kerry on his magnificent win and to JR & Stinger for their equal second.

Congratulations must also go to Fitzy & Kerry for retaining the pairs title and Stinger for his Calcutta win.

Well done to all for a magnificent Coolum Cup that will be long remembered!
